Exceptional Pie Boutique Celebrates Grand Opening with Community Event
Palm Desert, CA – January 27, 2026 – The Shops on El Paseo is pleased to welcome Winston Pies, the Los Angeles–based purveyor of handmade artisan pies, premium coffee, and ice cream. Marking its first location outside of the Greater Los Angeles area, Winston Pies is a highly anticipated addition to El Paseo’s collection of distinctive dining and retail destinations.
Winston Pies will officially celebrate its Palm Desert debut with a Grand Opening event on Saturday, January 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a full day of festivities, including a live DJ beginning at noon, exclusive giveaways, and special opening-day offerings. The first 50 guests will receive Winston Pies merchandise, and all guests will enjoy free Caffe Luxxe drip coffee with the purchase of any pie, available all day.
Known for its signature all-butter crusts, scratch-made recipes, and seasonal flavor combinations, Winston Pies has earned a devoted following in Southern California for its refined yet nostalgic take on classic Americana desserts. The Palm Desert location brings that same warmth, quality, and craftsmanship to the Coachella Valley.
The El Paseo location will proudly serve Caffe Luxxe Coffee, celebrated for its meticulously sourced and roasted beans, as well as McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams, the iconic Santa Barbara creamery known for its rich, small-batch flavors. Guests can enjoy these offerings alongside Winston Pies’ classic and innovative pie selections—by the slice or whole.

About Winston Pies
Founder Brianna Abrams started the business in 2017, initially operating from her home kitchen before opening a storefront in Brentwood in Los Angeles, California, and then later expanding to West Hollywood and Marina del Rey. Abrams named the bakery after her hometown, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she grew up with a strong family tradition of baking.
