The acquisition extends the footprint of the streetfront shopping center, The Shops on El Paseo, Chartwell's luxury retail and restaurant collection located on the western entrance of El Paseo.
The addition of these buildings enhances Chartwell's managed portfolio with a more diverse mix of retailers, specialty boutiques, restaurants, and professional services. Tenants in these newly acquired buildings include The Venue Sushi and Spirits Redefined, JC’s Cafe Blonde Clothing Boutique, Chrissy’s on El Paseo, and Maison Leveque Boutique. In addition, there is available space for lease to welcome new tenants.
